The Republic Navy concluded a week of patrol exercises in the Perseus Sector, officials confirmed.

The drills, held annually, are designed to test fleet coordination, navigation of high-traffic shipping lanes, and joint training with local garrisons. A Navy spokesperson stressed the exercises were “standard readiness operations,” unrelated to any specific incident.

Residents of Druantia and Vega reported increased naval presence in orbit, with many locals turning the exercises into impromptu celebrations as families gathered to watch maneuvers from colony rooftops.

Defense analysts said the drills reaffirm the Republic’s commitment to maintaining secure trade routes and visible deterrence in the frontier.
