Allegations of OrionEX Orbital Bombardments

OrionEX is facing renewed scrutiny after an incident on the mining world of Mavros left multiple shafts unresponsive and communications disrupted across a wide region.

According to early testimonies from surviving crews, an intense flash was observed near several active dig sites shortly before all contact was lost. Independent monitoring stations registered energy spikes consistent with high-orbit activity, though their origin remains unverified.

OrionEX attributed the incident to “unpredictable geological shifts” and confirmed that excavation operations in the affected quadrants have been suspended. “Safety remains our first priority,” the company said in a statement, adding that recovery teams are “assessing conditions before re-entry can be authorized.”

Labor representatives have called for a joint investigation, citing concerns that conventional explanations do not match field observations. Regulators in the Belt Oversight Council have acknowledged receiving preliminary reports but declined to comment further.

As of press time, the number of casualties remains unknown.
